Purpose, legitimacy and period of storage of the data.
The table below indicates the purpose of the processing of your personal data, i.e. the reason why Semillas Fitó processes your personal data, the legal basis that permits such processing for the specified purpose and the period for which your data will be stored.

In the event that Semillas Fitó processes your personal data for a purpose other than those indicated in the table above, Semillas Fitó will notify you of the purpose of such processing in advance and will provide you with any additional relevant information in accordance with the applicable legislation, as well as requesting, where appropriate, your consent, if such consent is required in order to justify legitimate processing.
Furthermore, we inform you that, in addition to the aforementioned retention periods, we will store your data for the compulsory limitation periods for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations, and for the management of our rights (to lodge or defend, where appropriate, a complaint), while also applying the provisions of the corporate regulations relating to the archiving and storage periods for documentation.
Data recipients: transferees and data processors.
We hereby inform you that your data will not be disclosed to third parties, except when there is a legal obligation to do so.
Moreover, we inform you that, in specific cases, we may disclose your data to other entities (including companies of the Fitó Group), in their capacity as data processors of the data held by Semillas Fitó, and in accordance with the provisions of article 28 GDPR, a contract has been formalised which legitimises the access of these entities to the personal data and which includes the obligations that must be observed for the processing.
Of the data processors indicated, the company BIZNEO SOLUTIONS, SL, owner of the platform used by Semillas Fitó for the management of personnel selection processes, should be mentioned.
International transfers
Semillas Fitó does not engage in international transfers of your personal data. Notwithstanding the foregoing, access to your data by data processors may necessitate the international transfer of data which, in any case, will be undertaken based on an adequacy decision (a third country that guarantees an adequate level of protection) or by means of adequate safeguards (standard data protection clauses, binding corporate regulations). This information is made available to data subjects, who may request information in this regard by sending an email to the contact address of the Data Protection Officer.
Rights of the data subject.
We hereby inform you that, with regard to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:
- Receive confirmation as to whether Semillas Fitó is processing personal data relating to you.
- Request access, rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data and, where appropriate, erasure of your data when, among other reasons, they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected.
- In specific circumstances, you may: request the restriction of the processing of your data, in which case we will only store them for the purpose of pursuing or defending complaints. You may, for reasons relating to your particular situation, object to the processing of your data, in which case we will cease processing them, except where unavoidable legitimate grounds exist, or for the pursuit or defence of any complaints.
- Obtain the personal data concerning you which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transfer it to another data controller without hindrance from us. In this regard, you may request that we transfer your personal data directly, where technically feasible, to the data controller specified in your communication.
- Withdraw your consent, in the event that you have granted such consent for a specific purpose. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of the processing based on the consent granted prior to its withdrawal.
You may exercise your rights at any time and free of charge, by sending an email to rgpd@semillasfito.com that is digitally signed (electronic National ID or other recognised certificate), or through a written communication addressed to SEMILLAS FITÓ, SAU, with registered address for data protection processing purposes, at calle Selva de Mar, núm. 111, 08019 Barcelona (Ref. Included in your request must be: your name and surname(s); a photocopy of your national identity document, passport or other valid document that identifies you and, if necessary, of the person representing you, as well as the document or electronic instrument accrediting such representation; details of the request you are making and supporting documents, if necessary; an address for notification purposes; a date and a signature.
